About Me

Hi, I’m Dan! I’m currently studying for an MSc at UCL in energy and environmental economics, a bit of a switch as I studied Chemistry for my bachelor’s degree at Durham. I started rowing at school, continued in my gap year and at uni and managed to make it to the European Universities Games in 2018. I always enjoyed rowing coaching and each summer from 2013-2018 I helped run the school’s summer school for new rowers who wanted to join.

I was lucky enough to have an excellent A level chemistry teacher who always kept lessons interesting and fun; I would love to share some of this passion. I would attribute getting full marks in one of my A2 exams and the Upper Sixth Leaver’s Prize for chemistry to actually enjoying my chemistry A level.
